alcohol.

When it comes to drinking alcohol, the choices are endless.  In the United States, a person must be 21 years old to legally consume an alcoholic beverage.

Mixed alcoholic beverages

The following are drink options:

  1. Wine
  2. Beer
  3. Mixed drink (liquor)

Option 1 is made from fermented grapes, green and red, which then makes red and white wine.  Red wine has a stronger alcohol content & tastes a little bitter.  White wine is usually lighter and tastes more fruity, although some white wines contain a large amount of alcohol and therefore tastes sour & bitter.

Beer is a class of it’s own with thousands upon thousands of options to choose from.  Beer is made from wheat, and many places have their own way of making their beer.  Beer ranges from a light yellow color, for example, Corona Light, to very dark brown, such as Amber Bock.

If you are in the mood for a drink with more alcohol in it, liquor has the highest amount of alcohol.  Some examples of popular mixes are:

  • Whiskey & coke
  • Vodka & cranberry juice (called “sex on the beach”)
  • Gin & juice
  • Vodka & orange juice (referred to as a “screwdriver”)
  • Rum & coke
  • Gin & tonic water
  • Vodka & tonic water
  • Vodka & Red Bull
  • Margaritas (contains tequila)
  • Martinis (made with vodka)
  • anything you want!

Like I said, the options are endless and completely depend on your personal preference.

So to figure out your favorite drink you gotta go out and experiment with different flavors!  (After your 21st birthday..)
